Our Story

Nestled by the waterfront, Olive & Sea was born from a passion for Mediterranean cuisine and a desire to share its vibrant flavors with our community. Founded in 2010 by the Marinakis family, our restaurant brings together generations of culinary traditions from Greece, Italy, and the coastal regions of Spain.

We believe in the Mediterranean philosophy of dining – meals should be savored slowly, shared with loved ones, and made with the freshest ingredients. Each dish tells a story of our heritage, crafted with locally-sourced produce and imported specialties from the Mediterranean.

Meet Our Chef

Elena Marinakis

Born and raised on the Greek island of Crete, Chef Elena brings over 20 years of culinary expertise to Olive & Sea. Her journey began in her grandmother's kitchen, where she learned the traditional recipes that would later inspire her innovative approach to Mediterranean cuisine.

After training at the prestigious Culinary Institute of Athens, Elena honed her skills in renowned restaurants across Spain, Italy, and France before returning to her roots and opening Olive & Sea.

Chef Elena is known for her commitment to sustainable seafood practices and her ability to transform simple, fresh ingredients into extraordinary dining experiences. Her signature dishes include Seafood Paella and Orange Blossom Panna Cotta.

Parking Information

Complimentary valet parking is available during dinner service hours. Self-parking is available in the Waterfront Garage adjacent to the restaurant (first 2 hours free with validation).

We're also easily accessible via public transportation - the Waterfront Line stops directly in front of our location.
